The Difficult Kind from Sheryl Crow

I think I was wrong
I think you were right
All my angry words
Will keep me up at night

Through the old screen door
I still hear you say
Honey won't you stop
Treating me that way
If you could only see
What love has made of me
Then I'd no longer be in your mind

The difficult kind
Cause babe I've changed
Tell it to me slow
Tell me with your eyes
If anyone should know
How to let it slide
I swear I can see you
Coming up the drive
There ain't nothing like regret
To remind you you're alive

If you could only see
What love has made of me
Then I'd no longer be in your mind
The difficult kind
Cause babe I've changed

I crossed the canyon a thousand times
But never noticed what was mine
What you'll remember of me tonight
Well, it almost makes me cry
Yeah, it almost makes me cry
Oh ballbreaking moon and ridiculing stars
The older I get, the closer you are
Don't you have somewhere that you need to be
Instead of hanging here making a fool of me

If you could only see
What love has made of me
Then I'd no longer be in your mind
The difficult kind
But you won't see the change in me

If you could only see
What love has made of me
But I'll forever be in your mind
The difficult kind
But you won't see, no you won't see
The good in me
But babe I've changed
Cause babe I've changed"

TLC-ing Red

Hello all my faithful TLC fans!! I have heard some rather scathing news in what looks to be the worst defamation of a posthumous artist in R&B/Rap history. Ok, ok...I know that may be a bit melodramatic, but to me, this is along the same lines of the fabolous "Sex in the City" series being reduced to mere primetime cable spot on TBS, without all the things that make it a hit show -- including well, sex. If you're still confused or unsure of what I am actually referring to, check out the news on VH1.com (see link on side bar) and you will sadly become aware of the unfortunate decision by the remaining members of the R&B/Rap female trio, TLC, to begin a reality TV contest in search for a replacement for the late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes.

First of all, I remember distinctly hearing from the remaining members, how hurt and angered they were by people coming up to them claiming that they had the talent to take Left Eye's place. If I further remember correctly, T-Boz and Chilli both also said that TLC is done...there will be no more TLC without Lisa. Hmmmm, how quickly we forget!! Besides, the immense lack of respect a reality TV replacement search leaves for a still heavily burning memory of the group's liveliest and most controversial member...and even moreso, the growing cheesiness of the shows like American Idol, For Love or Money, and Please Marry my Dad, it is quite possible that contestants who do show up for a chance to be the new "L" in TLC will deliver an "oh-so-lackluster" performance and a even less impressive "Left-Eye" mentality. Damn!! I wonder if Left-Eye is chanting "What About Your Friends" from her spot up in Heaven. Love my TLC girls, but truly, truly upset and disappointed :(
